Hello , I have a 2017 Chevy express van , the plug on the hitch is angled down which works fine with the trailer plug but I’m concerned that with the 6-7” echo plugged in it will be very close to the ground .

It's probably best to use a new 7-way bracket like the part # HM40978 or # A10-9394VP to reposition your 7-way better so that it's no longer pointed down for when you install the Curt Echo part # C51180 that you referenced.
