Question:

The tightening bolt itself came out of my 480R. Now I cant get it to screw properly all the way in. Any advice? Maybe I need a replacement bolt?

I reached out to my contact at Thule and she said there's not really a trick to getting the tightening screw back into place on your Rapid Traverse Foot. If it's not threading in there's likely an issue inside the foot that would require a full replacement.

Just the tightening bolt isn't available as a separate part, although the bolt itself likely isn't the problem. You can replace a single foot with the part # 7522249001, which will include everything you need.
