Both the Demco Hijacker # DM8550034 and PullRite SuperGlide are excellent auto-slide 5th wheel hitches that let you stay inside the comfort of your cab when making sharp turns, however I do recommend the Hijacker for a couple of reasons.

Both models do offer a robust single-jaw system for a secure connection to the trailer's king pin, but the Hijacker also includes an additional 3/4" thick solid steel locking bar to reinforce this connection. This not only provides incredible security when towing but it also helps to create a really smooth, quiet ride during travel.

The Demco Hijacker also allows for three different height settings (15-1/4", 16-1/2", and 18") to maintain a level setup between the truck and trailer. This is especially important with new trucks like your Ram 2500, as the beds keep getting higher and higher with each passing model year. The SuperGlide on the other hand has only the one stock height setting it comes with out of the box.

Lastly, the Hijacker also comes with integrated brackets on the head that help stabilize the pin box at the connection point. The PullRite often requires the purchase of a separate capture plate for this purpose.

To mount the hitch to your 2019 Ram 2500 you will just need the Custom Installation Kit # DM8552025-71, which includes the needed base rails and hardware.
