Question:
Does it take chlorine out of water and how fast
asked by: Samantha L
Expert Reply:
According to Camco, the # CAM40206 drinking water freshener wouldn't remove chlorine. It's more designed for mold and mildew. A disposable filter like # CAM40043 would work much better than the freshener.
The filter does its job in the amount of time it takes the water to pass through it. The filters are disposable, and considered to be good for 6 months or one camping season. Replacement filters are available as part # CAM40045.
I've linked you to a product description video for the filter product I recommended.
