Is Fascia Trimming Required to Install Draw-Tite Hitch on 2020 BMW X5

Question:
Plan on getting the drawtite 76288 hitch for my 2020 BMW X5. Wondering if I will need to trim the bumper at all during install. Thanks for any specifics you can provide!

Yes, the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76288 for your 2020 BMW X5 will require you to trim a section of bumper fascia to allow clearance for the drop-down receiver. You will just need to use a utility knife to cut out this 3-1/4" x 4" opening (see attached image).
I have included the full instructions manual below that you can also use for reference.
