My new Ram 2500 does not come with a break controller. I should be able to plug and play the P3 and wire harness with out having to go back to the dealer for anything correct?

The Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller part # 90195 when paired with the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers part # 3024-P will offer plug-n-play installation with no dealer programming required on a 2020 Ram 2500 so long as you don't have a factory brake controller. If you did have the factory brake controller you would need to take a trip to the dealer if you were to use an aftermarket brake controller since the factory brake controller would have to be disabled unless you were using the Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller part # C51180.
