Got a Ford 2011 fusion Need a 2 inch Receiver for Power wheelchair carrier which can not find a receiver to fit my car without using a reducer. every one is saying with a reducer I loose 100 lbs tongue weight. Why can I use a real short reducer and sill have my 200 lb tongue weight + -

The 1-1/4" Class I trailer hitch like the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11390 will be the only size available on a 2011 Ford Fusion. The 2" receiver is typically used in higher capacity hitches. A reducer will not really address the true concern which is vehicle capacity.

The 2011 Ford Fusion likely does not have enough capacity to carry a power wheelchair carrier on a hitch at the rear of the vehicle. A better option would be to pull the carrier behind your car on a small trailer or use a larger vehicle capable with a 2" hitch receiver.
