The short answer is it's very likely to work, but there are different measurements needed than the ones you gave. In order to determine if the maximum 8 inch rise or 2 inch drop of the Blue Ox SwayPro Weight Distribution with Sway Control - 10,000 lbs GTW, 1,000 lbs TW # BXW1000 is correct, here are the measurements you need:
- From the ground to the top of the hitch receiver opening.
- From the ground to the bottom of the coupler
You will need to use the "rise" on the shank if the coupler height is higher and in this case it is. Even with the correct measurements the distance is likely to be within the needed 8 inches of maximum rise the shank of the Blue Ox SwayPro # BXW1000 offers. If not, the Blue Ox SwayPro Weight Distribution Shank for 2" Hitches # BXW4003 has a maximum rise of 10-1/2 inches and drop of 4-1/2 inches. This system also requires a hitch ball, either the 2 inch ball # A-90 or 2-5/16 inch ball # 19286.
I've added a link to a video review as well as a link to a help article on how to measure rise and drop for you to check out.
