Question:

Will the Reese base rail kit fit 2018 Ram Rebel with air suspension. I have a Curt A16. I don’t need any type of slider as the camper is configured for short bed trucks already.

For your 2018 Ram 1500 Rebel that's equipped with the Air Suspension system you will need to go with the Reese Quick-Install Custom Installation Kit # RP50142-58, which includes both the custom mounting brackets and base rails to which your Curt A16 hitch will mount.

This will provide you with industry-standard, above-bed base rails, and the custom brackets will use existing holes in the Ram's frame rails so you don't have to drill into them during installation. I have attached the full install manual below that you can also look through.

The brackets included with the Reese Semi-Custom Installation Kit # RP30035-386 that you referenced will interfere with the Air Suspension system on your truck so it is not compatible.
