Question:
I have a 2011 ram 1500 with a tow package and gooseneck hitch. Trailer is a 8500 gvw 3 horse. What do you recommend to reduce sag when towing. It is used 10 or 15 times a year, about 150 miles per trip.

To greatly reduce rear sag on your 2011 Ram 1500 when towing I highly recommend the Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs # F4185. These durable air springs feature a load-leveling capacity of up to 1,000 pounds and their adjustability (5 psi to 70 psi) will allow you to create a level (and comfortable) ride not only when pulling the horse trailer 10-15 times but also during the rest of the year when you're either riding empty or hauling cargo in the truck bed.
The springs themselves will simply fit inside the factory coil springs on the truck, meaning they won't interfere at all with the gooseneck mounting hardware and they're going to work great in conjunction with the OEM suspension system to give you a really stable setup. All the necessary hardware is included.
One add-on to this system I do recommend considering is a compressor system like the Firestone Air Command I # F2158, which will let you adjust the bags from the comfort of your cab. Otherwise the springs simply need to be filled up at home (if you have a compressor in the garage) or at a service station just like you would fill up your tires.
I have attached a couple short video demonstrations on these products below as well.
