Does this have the overcharge protection in it can I leave it hooked up to maintain a dump trailer battery

You can absolutely keep the NOCO Genius Battery Charger # 329-GENIUS10 hooked up to your dump trailer battery for long periods of time without the fear of overcharging. Once the battery is fully charged, this multi-stage charger will automatically switch over to a maintenance mode that will simply top it off when needed so it's in prime condition when it's time to take the trailer out again.
The charger features a 10 amp maximum output and consumes a maximum of 150 watts of power.
