How To Tell When Tekonsha Trailer Wiring Circuit Tester Internal Battery Is Charged
Published 01/14/2020 >
Question:
I connected the battery terminals, closed the cover in hopes of the unit powering up. But is there a charging time I have to allow for? Seems as if my unit may be dead, although battery is reading 12V.

The Tekonsha Trailer Wiring Circuit Tester part # 8010 does have an internal battery that needs to be charged. I have attached a snip from the installation instructions that explains charging the internal battery. The LED on the charger will turn green when the battery is charged. There is not really a set time to charge it but the green light is an indicator of being charged.
