I know from previous posts shelby went out of business and you were not certain weather your 2inch model would work? Question did you ever find out ,will it work

We still haven't and I wouldn't hold my breath waiting to find out. Most of the time when customers try out stuff they don't end up letting us know if it ended up working out or not. I'd suspect no though.
I recommend simply replacing the coupler with the Channel Tongue Trailer Coupler # CT-3001-Z which has a 3,500 lb capacity, fits a 2" channel and 2" hitch ball.
