Question:
Just purchased the Curt Echo wireless for my 2015 F-150. Having issues. You guys have commented on power source due to trailer manage on the vehicle. What would be correct way to fix this. Thanks

Expert Reply:
If your 2015 Ford F-150 has the Smart Tow feature, it will only send power to the 12 volt pin on the 7-way. This is where the Curt Echo sends power from when 1) this power circuit is activated via the in-dash settings and 2) the vehicle is turned on, the transmission is placed in gear, and the brake pedal is applied.
Once the above steps are completed you can then use the Curt Echo or run a seperate power line with # 10-1-1 and part # 9510 to get around the Smart Tow feature.
