How to Remove the Thule HideAway Awning for Storage

Question:

I have my R-Pod parked in a very tight space and would not have space to park it with a the direct mount attached. Its the exact hight of my gutter and Im sure it would hit. Im wondering if the awning is easy to remove after a trip so that I can fit my Rpod back in its place. Not concerned with the physical aspect of it or the height, more so how quickly it can be done, and if it would cause any damage. I know you are supposed to seal the holes that you screw in for the mounting bracket, but beside that is there any other sealant you would have to scrape off and re-apply? If its as simple as removing the rack and re-sealing the screw holes when I replace it again, Im in for sure. Thanks!

You will be able to easily remove the Thule HideAway Awning # TH490011 from the mounting brackets that come with the direct mounting kit, but it should be noted that this awning only sticks out 3-1/2" from the side of your R-Pod trailer. I've attached a picture that shows in the instructions for the HideAway and how it mounts to the mounting plates that attach to your trailer, but it does mount and come off fairly easily.
