Replacement Lock Core for SportRack Vista XL Cargo Box

Question:
We just came back from our trip. Our key is 2820. We started unpacking, but now, our key will not go in all the way and can’t open the carrier to remove our luggage and remove carrier from my car. We thought it may be frozen as it rained and snowed on our way back. It’s been in the garage at 47 degrees all night and still key will not go in all the way to unlock. We have no choice but to drill the core. Do you carry the lockcore for Sportrack Vista XL for 2820 key? We would like replacement keys as well with the lock core. Thank you!

The Replacement Lock Core and Key for SportRack Cargo Box part # SR03807 can be used with the SportRack Vista XL Cargo Box part # SR7018 and is really your only options for replacement. In order to install the Replacement Lock Core you will need to drill out the rivets and reattach the lock core using the included jamb nut. This will leave two open holes next to the lock core which you can plug if desired. The new key number will be random but again this is your only option for the SportRack Vista XL Cargo Box.
