Do BOLT Hitch Pin Locks like BL7018447 Have Weight Capacities

Question:

Are there weight restrictions with this or any other hitch pins? I have a 2013f350 that I will be using to tow a 14000 pound gvwr dump trailer with a 2 1/2 inch draw tite hitch. Will this be ok to use?

Hitch pins don't end up carrying the full weight of the trailer since the tongue weight on the ball mount ends up pushing hard enough down on the hitch that it's held in place with just that friction created. This is why hitch pins like the Bolt part # BL7018447 that you referenced do not have specified weight capacities. As long as you are under the weight capacity of the truck you are towing with and the hitch that's installed on it you'll be totally fine.
