I am looking for a dash mount controller option like the curt or the redarc but one that has boost. Does one exist?

Actually the Curt Spectrum # C51170 that you referenced does have a boost feature that makes the braking action more aggressive using the sensitivity setting. In the second row of the picture I attached you can see this setting. The further into the red section you set the controller the more aggressive the braking action will be when sensing braking action.
To switch between modes basically you just will press the center section until you see the three blue and three red lights that you see in the picture.
The Redarc Tow Pro part # RED44FR is set up similarly and all you have to do is turn the knob further clockwise to gain more braking pressure when the brakes are applied.
