Can 3 inch Pipe Mount of Bulldog Swivel Jack Attach to 2 inch Trailer Frame
Published 12/11/2019 >
Question:
Is it possible to use BD190758 Bulldog jack with BD015279 2” male weld on jack pipe mount? The jack specified that it ships with a 3” female weld-on mount. Wondering if reversing the gender is ok because I only have 2” frame to weld to.

Expert Reply:
Even though you have a 2 inch tall frame to weld a pipe mount to the 3 inch pipe mount that comes with the Bulldog Jack # BD190758 will still attach securely enough to it. You'll just need to have it welded around the mount where it touches the frame and you'll be fine. Your 2 inch pipe mount should still match up to this as a male fitting but the 3 inch mount would be better.
