Question:
My 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee has the factory 7-way and I need a brake controller for. What would you recommend? I'd rather not mount anything on my dash if at all possible.

The brake controller I recommend for your 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a factory 7-way is the Curt Echo Mobile brake controller part # C51180. This is a super easy to install brake controller that does not require any wiring or dashboard mounting like you are wanting. Basically this plugs into your 7-way and once synced to your smart phone is ready to tow. Not only is it really easy to install but it's also a really great brake controller. It uses an inertia sensor to sense how hard you are applying the vehicle brakes and then applies an proportional amount of braking pressure on the trailer's brakes.
I attached a review video for this for you to check out as well.
