Can I Use the Malone SteelTop Crossbars on a 2008 Audi A4 With Naked Roof

Do the Malone crossbar racks require stock rails to install? Have a 2008 Audi A4 sedan with nothing on top. Just wanted to know if everything will fit right?

The Malone SteelTop Roof Rack part # MPG202 does require factory raised side rails to install; so it will not fit on your Audi A4's naked roof.
If you want more room, or space to mount accessories on the bars I recommend Rhino Rack roof rack system, consisting of part # RRVA118B-2, aero cross bars in black or part # RRVA118S-2 for aero bars in silver, part # RRRLKVA, the Rhino Rack 2500 series legs, and part # DK031 the custom fit kit for your Audi. This roof rack system has 46" long bars, and will stick out past the feet. The bars have a lock on the end cap to keep any channel mounted accessories secure. If you want to upgrade to metal lock cores I recommend part # RRVA-LEC4.
The Vortex Aero crossbars help cut down on the wind noise, and drag, which can be common when you have something mounted to your roof. They're made out of aluminum and anodized, so they're rust proof, and extremely strong.
