Question:
We have a Keystone Raptor and are going to be towing it with a 2019 Ford F-350. We got a short bed because the Raptors are so long and we didn't want to add any unneeded length. So we'll need a sliding hitch but I really have no desire to get in and out of the truck to do that. Since these Keystone Raptor haulers are pretty hefty in weight, is there an autoslide that will work with it and hte F-350? Thanks.

There is absolutely an automatically sliding fifth wheel hitch that will work on your 2019 Ford F-350 Super Duty and allow you to tow your Keystone Raptor toy hauler. Your concern about getting a sliding hitch with the right weight capacity is understandable, but the Demco Hijacker with it's 21,000 lb capacity is going to be perfect for you. The correct set up will depend on if your 2019 F-350 has the Ford Fifth Wheel Prep Package (the puck system) or not:
- 2019 Ford F-350 Super Duty WITH 5th Wheel Prep Package: Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Hitch with Slider - Ford Super Duty Prep Package # DM8550038
- 2019 Ford F-350 Super Duty WITHOUT 5th Wheel Prep Package: Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Hitch with Slider # DM8550035 and Demco Hijacker Premier Series Above-Bed Base Rails and Custom Installation Kit # DM8552031-71
The 21,000 lb towing capacity of these hitches will be what you need in order to tow a Keystone Raptor. The Hijacker is the best sliding hitch on the market not only because it slides automatically, but because it combines that convenience with a single-piece jaw that wraps totally around the king pin and is reinforced via a 3/4" solid steel bar that locks into place once the jaw is closed. The reinforced jaw system is what will give you a much quieter ride with less rattling and slack in the jaws than other hitches.
I've added links to video reviews for you to check out as well.
