Question:

Hello, The 2019 Volkswagen GLI Autobahn is a Jetta, but it has the Golf GTI platform. Based on my searches, the recommended Jetta hitch receiver is not for me and the Golf GTI hitch receiver looks as if it would be the right fit. Will, therefore, the Curt hitch receiver #11412 work on the 2019 Volkswagen Jetta GLI Autobahn? Thanks

Curt lists the # C11412 as being a fit for the 2019 GTI Autobahn, but because VW sometimes gets pretty confusing with their model line ups, I would take that with a grain of salt.

I'd recommend checking out the installation instructions for the # C11412 and taking note of where the mounting holes for the hitch are, and locate them on the underside of the rear of your vehicle. Measure the center to center spacing of the 4 bolt holes from front to back and side to side as shown in the photo I've provided. If the side to side measurement is just shy of 39 inches (38.93 to be exact) and the front to back center to center hole distance is 2-1/2 inches, the # C11412 will fit your vehicle.

If the bolt hole spacing doesn't match up, let me know the spacing you have and I might be able to locate a fit for you by checking the other VW fits.
