Would Weather Changes Cause Fittings of RhinoFlex Sewer Fittings to Stop Connecting
Published 11/05/2019 >
Question:
I have a year old rhino hose that the end will not lock into the other piece. It used to work fine. Does the cold and warm weather shrink the connector?

Expert Reply:
Weather fluctuations should not have a significant enough of an impact on how well the fittings of the RhinoFlex Sewer Fittings like the part # CAM39765 would connect to each other to totally prevent the connection from being made. The materials of the fittings is not known to greatly expand or contract based on temperature so I'd not suspect that to be your issue.
I'd inspect the fittings inside and out for obstructions or damage as that's most likely what is the issue.
