The Provider ST235/85R16 Radial Trailer Tire part # TTWPRG235R16 is rated for 4,400 lbs when used on a single tire axle and 3,860 lbs when used on a dual tire axle. The reason that you lose capacity on a dual tire axle is because the load on each tire is never the same because of different wear patterns, contact patches, and the crown of the road.
Please note, the above is the most that we offer for a 235/85-16 tire so if you need more than this then you really ought to make sure you are not exceeding the trailer's weight capacity.
