Question:
I have a 50A cable from my RV and use a Camco CAM55306 Power Defender when 50A service is available. If only 30A service is available, can I use the same configuration and just add a A10-3050FBK 30A-to50a adapter cord to connect to a 30A service?

Helpful Expert Reply:
Yes, when hooking up to 30 amp shore power you can simply add the Mighty Cord Dogbone Adapter # A10-3050FBK, which will connect to the 30 amp outlet and then go to your existing Camco 50 amp RV Power Defender # CAM55306, which would then plug into your RV.
The Camco Power Defender is still going to protect your RV from potentially dangerous surges over 50 amps. I have attached a couple short video reviews that you can check out as well.
