Full Blue Circle With Only Slight Braking When Using Curt Echo Brake Controller

Question:

When connected and paired, solid green light , the blue ring light comes on and a full circle is obtained with the slightest brake pressure. We tried shutting off and repairing with same results. We are not clear on setting sensitivity and max. Output. We are currently at 32 max outpu, 5 sensitivity, on a 6750 # trailer. That was a guess. My echo # is 481338.

It sounds like you just need to adjust the output and sensitivity setting on the Curt Echo Mobile Trailer Brake Controller part # C51180 as none of what you described indicates a problem is present. The best way to adjust the output and sensitivity setting will be listed in the manual but I have attached the adjustment portion for you below as well. I would not have any exact numbers for you to use which is why it is important to follow the procedure outlined below.
