Question:
I have a friend that just bought a 2019 Thor Quantum RC25 that is on a Ford F450 frame. I guess it is the Super Duty, I do not know how I to tell. He told me it scares the crap out of him on the highway because when a tractor trailer passes them he said he is unable to keep the vehicle in his lane so he stays on the right. He also has a car that he toes behind it. He says that on windy days he can barely manage a 60-75 mile drive because it wears him out fighting the steering wheel. When he told me that first I thought he needed a steering stabilizer and asked to see it to see if it had one already or not. It did and it looks about the size of a golf cart shock. I also noticed he had a front wheel car hauler parked behind it and when I asked questions he said he always goes the car. Any advice on what kind of parts would help him on his journeys that should be fun and not a chore? Best regards

What your friend is experiencing is unfortunately all too common in the RV world, as many motorhomes just don't come equipped from the factory with sufficient suspension components for enjoyable handling on the road. The good news though is that there are many aftermarket products that are vastly superior to what's currently on the Thor Quantum and will absolutely help to make your friend's journeys just as pleasant as the destinations.
The 2019 Thor Quantum RC25 is built on the Ford E-450 chassis, so the right steering stabilizer is the Roadmaster Reflex # RM-RBK24-RSSC. This is going to mount between the steering mechanism and the chassis to create a tight connection for much less wander. This is what's going to give your friend a much improved sense of control behind the wheel, eliminating that "floating" feeling that he's likely very familiar with.
Then to cut down on the sway he's experiencing, especially when larger vehicles pass him by on the highway, I highly recommend adding the Rear Anti-Sway Bar # RM-1139-147. This will actually replace the factory sway bar on the RV to provide an upgraded unit that mounts to the rear axle and frame to balance weight transfer and dramatically reduce sway and body roll.
Just adding these two components to the Thor Quantum is going to create a totally new experience, something your friend is going to notice right away. I have attached a couple installation videos that you or he can also use for reference.
