Question:
Hi, I was considering buying the Olympian Wave 3 portable propane heater for my van. I was wondering if you can get a low pressure gas regulator connector hose that has an adjustable knob in order to control the amount of propane coming through or would that mess with the heater in some bad way? Thanks,

You cannot use an adjustable regulator with the Camco Olympian Wave 3 # CAM57331 since this heater operates on a low pressure gas system and running high pressure gas through it would cause it to function improperly and potentially create a dangerous situation. Instead, you would want to use a hose and regulator like the # CAM57703 which has a 6ft long hose on a low pressure regulator to connect from your gas source.
It should be noted that the Olympian Wave 3 has an adjustable heat output, which will slow the consumption of propane and accomplish the same thing I believe you're looking to do.
