Can Different Brand Hitch Lock Be Used with Thule Roadway Bike Rack

Does this work for my 2014 Honda CR-V and the Thule Roadway 2 Bike Rack - 1-1/4inch and 2inch Hitches - Tilting, Item # TH912XTR? Or does Thule require the use of its own hitch lock?

Thule, along with most other bike rack manufacturers, use unique threads in the shank's hitch pin hole that are designed to only be used with their own hitch pins/locks. Because of this the HitchMate # HE6001 you referenced won't be compatible. For your Thule Camber 2 Bike Rack # TH9058 the Thule Snug Tite Hitch Lock # THSTL2 will fit and work perfectly.
If you wanted to add a cable lock as well to secure the bikes to the rack you can use the Thule # TH538XT or a standard cable lock of your choosing.
