Question:
When I watched the video on the DEMCO Hijacker hitch they said they wouldnt guarantee a 90 degree turn how many degrees will it turn? I have a 2019 F 250 with OEM installed Pucks and I am trying to decide between the Demco Hyjacker and the B and W slider hitch. I want to get this right first time. Has the Hijacker had any malfunction issues? Is being lighter material been a problem? And what about Maintenance on the Demco Hijacker vs the B and W

The Demco Hijacker Autoslide, 18K # DM8550024 and 21K # DM8550038 for your 2019 Ford F-250 with the OEM pucks, do pivot up to 90 degrees. The limiting factor for the turning clearance has to do with your pin box length and 5th wheel trailer body width. Clearance typically is only an issue with older 5th wheel trailers that have wider bodies because they were only pulled by pickups with 8' bed. Newer trailers usually don't have an issue with clearance unless they use a very short (almost vertical) pin box.
I really like both the Hijacker Autoslide options I mentioned above as well as the B&W Companion # BWRVK3370 that you are comparing. They are quality products and I know you'd be happy with either option. I personally prefer the Hijacker because of the autosliding feature which provides 14" of travel as opposed to the 12" of travel that the Companion offers.
The only real disadvantage of the Hijacker is that you have to make sure that you hook up at the same angle that you disconnected the trailer from. If you are able to back straight up into the campsite though this isn't as much of a problem.
As far as maintenance goes the Companion is easier simply because the Hijacker has move moving parts. Neither option is that bad and you can find the maintenance tips in each of the attached installation instructions. The Companion is also about 40 lbs - 70 lbs lighter than the Hijacker but again, it is simply because the Hijacker has more parts associated with it because of the autoslide feature.
Like I stated before, I prefer the Hijacker over the Companion and I hope that the info I provided has given you some clarity on which route you'd like to take. I have attached some review videos for you to check out as well.
