Question:
We have a canoe that is 40” wide. It’s getting too heavy to lift on top of the car so we want to buy a trailer for it. We also need to accommodate a kayak as well if possible. We haven’t purchased the kayak yet. Would this trailer work?

The Malone MicroSport Trailer # MPG460G that you referenced is perfect for transporting both your 40" wide canoe and an additional kayak. This trailer can support up to 500 pounds of weight with the integrated crossbars and offers plenty of width for both your watercrafts.
To secure the canoe to the crossbars I recommend the Malone BigFoot Pro Canoe Carrier # MPG112MD, and for the kayak the Malone J-Pro # MPG117MD will work perfectly. Both carriers include the needed tie-down straps to hold everything into place during travel.
I have attached a few short video demonstrations that you can check out as well.
