Question:

I have a short bed truck 58inch bed. I need a sidewinder like pin box to replace the leland 7930. So my question is, is there a turret style replacement for the 7930 pin box?

I do have a possible solution for you but there is not a rotating pin box available like a Reese Sidewinder for the Leland 7930. Therefore, your only option if you want to tow said trailer is to use a sliding 5th wheel hitch with as much travel as possible. The Curt A16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # C16521 is a good option for this as it offers 12" of front to back travel. In order to install this on a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 you can then use the Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit part # C16418-204 or the Curt Universal Fifth Wheel Base Rails with Installation Kit part # C16100.

The above option will still allow you to tow your trailer and make turns but you will need to be careful and mindful of your limited clearances.
