Question:
I recently purchased and installed the Go Power Eco Solar Charging System with Digital Solar Controller, 20 Watt Solar Panel, Item # 34273837. My question is this, the controller looks like it can handle up to 175 Watts of solar input. Can I buy another solar panel, say a 100W panel and connect into this system I purchased? i.e. is a miss-matched panel wattage a problem? Other issues? Thanks.

The Go Power Eco Solar Charging System with Digital Solar Controller part # 34273837 comes with a charge controller rated at 10 amps or 170 watts. The included solar panel only provides 1.14 amps or 20 watts so that means you will have 8.86 amps remaining which is plenty for a 100 watt panel. That said, we don't offer the panels separately so your best option is to obtain the Go Power Solar Flex Charging System with Digital Solar Controller part # 34272630 and add your 20 watt panel to this system. It would not harm the system to combine different watt solar panels. The charge controller with this system actually supports up to 30 amps so you could add even more if needed.
