Good morning Jameson, Thank you very much for this solution. Just one more thing - does the phone need a cell connection for it to work? I use this tractor-trailer combination in the forest where I don't have cell service. I can get the app and do the configuration at the house but then it will need to continue functioning in somewhat remote locations. Thank you again,

The first thing you'll need to connect your 2019 Diamond C 25DOD that has a 7-way to your 2019 Kubota M7060HDC tractor that has a 6-way is a 7-way to 6-way adapter like the # 337TC1067P.

Now to activate the trailer brakes you'll need a brake controller, and normally this is where the install gets interesting as you'd typically have to track down a signal that only has voltage when the brake are applied as well as run several other wires but we have a really simple solution that will work great with the Curt Echo Mobile part # C51180 which plugs into your 7-way and once synced to your smart phone is ready to proportionally activate your trailer brakes. So no involved wiring process and trailer brakes that automatically match how hard you are applying the tractor brakes. Check out the review video I attached for more info as well.

Since the connection is BlueTooth and not through any cellular data you don't need any phone service for the controller to connect and function. As long as the phone is close enough to be in Bluetooth range (shouldn't be an issue at all) the connection will be just fine. Also if you were to somehow lose Bluetooth connection the controller still works as well. It retains last settings used.
