Other company reviews for the same product say the poles were not included. Are they included if I buy from etrailer?

Yes, I cannot speak for our competitors but I can assure you that the Brophy Cable Camper Jacks part # CJ41 do come with the upright poles and all of the other parts you will need to lift your truck bed camper on and off your truck. The components that you see in the attached photo are all included.
