How do you remove the crossbar style base plates with the twist lock attachment once the cross bar is installed? 2017 F150

If you are using a tow bar with a crossbar like the Roadmaster Sterling All Terrain Non-Binding Tow Bar part # RM-576 on a crossbar style base plate kit like the Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit part # RM-524431-4 (For 2017 Ford F-150 Only) then you would use the quick-disconnects on the crossbar to release it from the base plates as that would then allow you to twist the arms out for removal. Basically, you will remove the pins from the top of the quick-disconnect plates (see photo) instead of the pin that attach to the lugs on the tow bar arms.
