Question:
I was told part #K250CP was the pads I need for replacement. But Im pretty sure mine are different. The pic for this number shows two flanges on one side of the rotor. I believe my pads are universal and will fit on either side of the rotor

The replacement brake pads you need are determined by the caliper that you have on your trailer. The Kodiak Ceramic Brake Pads # K250CP fit any Kodiak caliper with the 250 stamped on them. If you have a different caliper and/or a different sized axle these likely won't fit in your existing calipers. If you can let me know what type of caliper you have or what axle you have on your trailer, I can recommend the correct replacement brake pads for you- pictures also work.
