Location of Brake Controller Install Port on 2018 Ford F-53 RV

Question:
I have a 2018 Forest River FR# with a F53 Chasis, the only connection I could find in a very difficult space to get into already has a plug connected to it. Do I remove the plug and plug in the brake controller and leave the other end that was plugged in just free and tied up? Thanking you in advance for your attention in this Very Important Matter,

Expert Reply:
When plugging in the brake controller adapter part # 3035-P on a 2018 Ford F-53 Chassis, the vehicle's wiring harness will not be plugged into any other plug. It will be a dangling free behind a plastic black cover inches to the left of the the steering column support near the emergency brake pedal.
I have attached some photos for your reference. The grey plug that is plugged into something else is not the correct plug. The correct plug is on the end of the black wire loom to the left of the grey plug in the photo. I have also attached a photo of the correct plug once it has been pulled out from behind the plastic cover.
