Procedure for Towing Ford Focus On Tow Dolly
Published 08/29/2019 >
Question:
What the are correct procedures once the vehicle is loaded on the Dolly? Do I have to disconnect the NEG on the battery -or- can i just tow the vehicle, leaving the vehicle in either neutral or park once on the tow dolly?

The exact procedure could be a bit dependent on the exact model year of your Focus, but generally speaking you'll want the steering column locked, and the transmission in neutral. You should not need to disconnect the battery terminal.
There might be more specifics mentioned in your owner's manual. Look in the 'towing' or 'recreational towing' section. I've linked you to a video showing the Roadmaster # RM-2050-1 Tow Dolly in use.
