Can Pop and Lock Tailgate Lock and Camper Shell Lock both Tie Into Same Key Fob

Question:
I have an existing tailgate lock popandlock, can a topper lock be added to the truck and still use the same fob? Would it just be tied into the wiring in the tailgate?
