I am looking at the DZ43202 and need to know if I can use it on my 02 chevy 3/4 ton HD tailgate. I bought another one a few years ago and it broke within a few months

This unit is confirmed to fit your truck and will work perfectly to control the drop of your tailgate. It does come with a 3-year limited warranty.

The DeeZee # DZ43302 that you referenced is only designed to fit the 2019 Ram 1500 and won't work on your 2002 Silverado.
