Question:
I have a 2018 Ford F150 with the tow package, 3.5 EcoBoost engine and 3.55 rear gear ratio. I tow a 30foot travel trailer with a dry weight of 5,900 lbs and max weight rating of 7,800 lbs. I use a Husky Centerline TS WD hitch. I dont normally have any issues with sway but on certain road surfaces I have a issue with the bouncing or porpoising-effect. I dont drive over 65 MPH but when I encounter the bouncing I have to slow down to around 45 MPH to help bring the bouncing under control. Will the Timbren Suspension Enhancement System - help in solving this?

The suspension enhancement options for the 2018 Ford F-150 may help with the porpoising effect that you are experiencing. However, usually porpoising is caused by the trailer weight not being properly distributed. If there is too much weight in the back of the trailer the weight could cause the trailer to bounce. You want to try to make your tongue weight 10-15% of the overall weight of the trailer. If you are at 10% try to make it 15%. I recommend using a tongue weight scale like part # e99044. If you can back off the tension of your weight distribution system a little and still be level it may help. You may also consider taking a look at the tires to make sure they are inflated to the max PSI.
If you try these things and are still experiencing bouncing, the suspension on the truck may need enhancement. For that, I recommend Air Lift Air Helper Springs part # AL59570 because they do offer the best ride quality compared to the other systems that can create a stiffer uncomfortable ride like the Timbrens. We have had customers come back to say that the Air Lift bags helped with the bounce in their truck while towing. They are designed to absorb road shock and sway so they will work well to give a better experience when towing.
You may also consider an air compressor part # AL25592 which will give you the convenience of inflating the bags on the go instead of stopping at a gas station or carrying around a bulky compressor with you.
