For your 2017 Ram 2500 short bed with Ramboxes I really like the Pace Edwards retractable tonneau covers as they are very secure, easy to install and use, and are incredibly well made. Since you said you wanted the best that is what I would go with. For an electric retracting tonneau the Bedlocker part # 311-BLD87A08 would be what I recommend or for a manual retracting tonneau the # 311-FMD87A08.
