How to Activate Trailer 12 Volt Circuit of 7-Way on 2017 Ford F-150
Question:
2015 f150 I plugged electric jack into 7 way. No power to jack. I am at a loss. It looks like all fuses are good. Do I need to set it up in the info center? Is it a smart plug? If so how do I get around it?

The 12 volt power circuit of the 2017 Ford F-150 7-way has to have the key on to activate and due to the "smart" tow setup you have to connect to a trailer and do a setup on the info setup that includes naming the trailer. Should be page 110 in the owners manual. Let me know if that fixes the issue. I've heard of other people doing all of this and still not having it active.
In this case easiest solution is run a 10 gauge wire like part # 10-1-1 through a breaker part # 9510 from the 1:00 pin of the 7-way to the positive post of the truck battery.
