Question:
Where and how should the 27512VA be mounted on a vehicle? I am not asking about the switch but the devise itself that makes the sounds. Please be very specific. Thank You

You would want to mount the alert in a safe area behind the grill of your vehicle that will prevent it from getting direct exposure to the weather, but you also want it to be pointed forward so that the sound of the alert is directed out beyond the front of the vehicle.
I know this is not as specific as you would like, but due to how different most vehicles are there really is not one specific way to do it. You will need to take a look at the front of your vehicle and decide what you think the ideal location would be.
