Dimensions of RV Shower Pan # LC298087

Question:
The flang to flang measurement is 27”, yet it says the interior measurement is 20 3/4”. That’s seems like a big difference. The edges take up 6 1/4”? Surely that’s not correct. Can you confirm? The interior of my current 24” pan is 20 5/8”. We would gain NO interior space if your stated measurements are correct.

The interior dimensions of the shower pan part # LC298087 are kind of hard to visualize just based on description since it has 5 sides and they are hard to differentiate. That's why I attached dimensional pictures of this pan for you to check out.
