Yes, you can install a B&W Turnoverball gooseneck trailer hitch on your 1996 Ford F-250 crew cab, short bed. This includes the diesel models.
If your truck has the factory overload springs, then you will want part # BWGNRK1110. If your truck does not have the overload springs, then you will want part # BWGNRK1100.
