Question:

Ive had the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System w/ 4-Point Sway Control - 12,000 lbs GTW, 1,200 lbs TW for about 4 years now. The shank fit fine on my old Chevy Tahoe. Last year I bought a 2017 Chevy Silverado 2500. The receiver for the hitch is about 2 3/4. I bought a sleeve for my hitch to fit, and it does work, but I seem to get alot of play in the hitch and it makes for a very bouncy ride with the trailer. Can I get a shank for the hitch that will eliminate that bounce? Everything seems to be set correctly. Trailer is straight with the truck. No sag in either the trailer or the truck.

I have exactly what you need for your Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System part # EQ37120ET, the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution Shank part # EQ90-02-4700. This shank has the same rise/drop as the one that came with the above system but has the larger 2-1/2" shank that will fit securely inside the receiver tube opening on your 2017 Chevy Silverado 2500. The receiver tube opening on your 2017 Chevy Silverado 2500 is 2-1/2", not 2-3/4". This will reduce rattle and play tenfold when compared to a reducer sleeve.
