When we installed the Draw Tite hitch part # 76217 on a 2019 Chevy Equinox like yours we found that from the top of the hitch opening down to the ground measured 12 inches but we did not measure from the ground to the bottom of the hitch...but I can still help you determine what ground clearance you would have.
This hitch measures 11-3/8" from the bottom of your Equinox's frame to the lowest point of the hitch, which is the safety chain holes.
What you can do is get under your Equinox and measure from the frame to the ground, then subtract 11-3/8" you will know how much distance there is going to be from the ground to the bottom of the hitch.
